Professional Associations
In addition to our student organizations, the faculty in the department of communication recommend becoming involved in a professional association during college or upon graduation. These associations provide you with continuing education, professional development, networking and presentation opportunities. Some of these organizations even offer a student membership rate and provide free copies of their journals as part of the membership benefits.
