Communication studies track
The seven track options offered within the communication degree may be easily completed in four years or eight semesters. However, the four-year degree plan does not take into account dual credit or transfer credit that you may bring with you upon admission to the University. Please remember that course availability are subject to change, so consult with your advisor when scheduling your classes.
The communication department offers both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science option for each degree and track.
Bachelor of Arts
For a Bachelor of Arts degree, you will need to complete 12 hours of a foreign language, History 103 and History 104, a philosophy course and six hours of fine arts. Both the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Communication are non-comprehensive degree options, which require that you complete a minor.
