Research and professional interests
My areas of interest include intercultural communication, conflict mediation, public speaking and teaching non-native speakers of English. Qualitative and rhetorical methods of analysis are my favorite approaches to research. I love learning about and experiencing other languages and cultures, and I enjoy combining my Spanish language skills with all of the above pursuits whenever possible. Teaching courses in public speaking and intercultural communication allows me to share my interests with my students and watch them learn and progress.
